Yeah I'd totally agree with that, being white does give more points towards looking successful in most people's minds, it's definitely ingrained in me also, but being aware of it definitely does help.

Contrary to popular opinion i don't think it's a bad idea to practice first, i've had a HS gf but i was so autistic and avoidant that i didn't engage much so it didn't work out but at least i got everythign but the V part down.
Idk if a therapist is the best option there though, perhaps try some online stuff first? Maybe VRChat if you're the type?
