I have the opposite experience. I can't live anymore without so much caffeine and it's ruining my health. Sure I can quit by paying the price of feeling sick for a couple of days without caffeine but the underlying problem is: without substance abuse I'm apathetic.
Furthermore: I think caffeine mostly creates the illusory feeling of being more productive but long term it doesn't seem objectively the case and manic feel good in the moment decisions are not necessarily the best decisions in the long term.
