I think it's probably scarier for the man, yes. I'd imagine a lot of men are scared to even confess in the first place because of how it could be received. Men basically always get blamed for the sex stuff in relationships, societally and legally. In an incestuous relationship, yeah, I think most guys are aware that society will see them as a weirdo who somehow groomed/coerced the woman into sleeping with them. Reality of it doesn't matter, people's gut reaction will be "Oh, that poor, sweet, innocent girl". Personally, I don't like being told what to do and am pretty sexually aggressive sometimes, so the idea of being my brother's innocent helpless grooming victim is ludicrous to me.
