>Another life experience some of you might know but many of you don't is the general vibe of people you meet "on vacation" - particularly in outdoor activities (camping / hiking). It's worth noting that these excursion groups (in my American, earlier, experiences) were overwhelmingly White.
I'm a zoomer and experienced that, it's nice.
>Geographical barriers and travel/migration difficulties reinforced the sorts of filters that would funnel people into communities.
>There's no technical reason why the necessary principles of guiding people through filters to meaningfully connected groups with the advent of the internet and its tools and hubs could not have been the case. That has not been the case. It is the will of our unnamed oligarchs that the masses be made productive slaves at best and culled if they don't become that. The feckless deployment of present "social media" occurred under that sentiment rather than a desire to drive coalescing the like-minded.
>The internet went the way of the modern metropolis.
I live in a city. Having people of every race, background, religion etc. doesn't work, in fact it makes life unbearable.
>The multicultural fragmented race to the bottom where the digital spaces can all resemble the quintessential third world cramped shithole of base expressions and people stepping over the corpses of rotting tranq addicts. At best - seeming social groups loosely gather over mental illness diversions trying desperately to fill the voids of their real lives against the backdrop of the economic desperation that moves all people into desperate creatures that only value address to their basest desires: lust, soothing distractions of novelty, and greed.
This all like most problems, stems from the actions and desires of a certain wealthy and powerful elite ethnoreligious group.
