Blanket bans on coworkers dating are more of a boomer era thing. The the seniority difference is pretty much the only part that is still against the rules. The "rules" against coworkers dating got relaxed not because yuppies found out it was a good way to get dirt on their coworkers and manipulate them closer to getting shitcanned.
