Just be honest to him about it. Sometimes you feel like you have something but once you are put in the situation, the spark is gone.
If you want to give it another chance that is fine I suppose but it looks to me it would be a waste of both your time.
Cannot help it so the best course of action is to tell him how you really feel. Just be sure to not be an ass about it and that should be enough.
Please do not feel obligated to date the guy because he is nice and into you.
