Brits are good little goys to their daddy government, always have been, the ones who relented left on wooden boats 300 years ago.
In the same vain as nips (though not as severe) we don't like to kick up a fuss and will mostly just get on with things if we feel we aren't being personally affected.
I knew something was wrong when 2 million brits marched that day in spite of the possibility of being called a heckin roycist, brits are extremely aware of how they're percieved by other brits which is why classism is hard coded into our genome and why the leftist name and shame tactic is so ridiculously effective here.
