CBT helped me for OCD, psychoanalysis (or at least it seems like it, I don't exactly know her approach) helps me for anxiety and depression/sadness/angst. I think this question was a good one. Can you identify why you are feeling like that? Can't you find a reason or do you find this question absurd? Then say that to him/her. Therapy is a dialectical process.
