This would seem to contradict your OP. Anyway, guys don't approach tall women because we just assume you would want someone significantly taller than you who makes you feel small (like most women do). You're gonna have to make the moves when you see a guy you like. A lot of guys don't genuinely care how tall a woman is, other than we know the stigma that most women don't want a guy that's their own height or shorter, so we already treat it as a non-starter. You would have to open the door and do the approaching if you're fine with a guy's height who isn't freakishly tall.
