Having sex with an unattractive male is more like eating a pile of several week old dead dog carcasses stewing in a bath of maggots and diarrhea. It may be traumatizing but it isn't what they are looking for as far as trauma goes. They just want to feel like they have a valid reason to be depressed and needy and not be called egotistical in some way.
