Maybe the homeless man was a bad example (though still true). But take" breakcore" for instance. It's just a bunch of anime pfps on Soundcloud uploading Fruity Loops music with few amen breaks. Many of them are guilty of making "breakcore" part of their identity. This is a product of the music industry, even though the music is as indie as it gets.
