This is personalized and guess what, when I go there what I get is sports results and media comedy and I'm not even really on Twitter, I just have an accounts and secondly what is trending is what's posted by big twitter accounts, obviously not what the average twitter user is posting about his life. No shit that "I just bought this new thing" or "I just saw this new film" isn't going to trend on twitter but it's what most people are posting.
