For sure. I have a pair of CXL derbies from Allen Edmonds (from before they changed their production lines) and while they're not dress shoes, normies all think they are. Super comfortable shoe and I can easily walk in them all day long. They're over 10 years old now and still just as nice looking as the day I got them. The only shoes I've ever had problems with were cheap plasticized leather ones and work boots (the break in process is brutal). The most comfy shoe I own is a pair of handsewn mocs though, sneakers got nothing on those.
