I think I might have a warped perception also because I saw my father be a huge pushover to both my mother and then even worse to his now long term malignant narcissist partner. I watched him cater to every whim and desire of a woman with absolutely no pushback from him and it was absolutely pathetic. My worst nightmare is having my life in any way, shape or form controlled by a woman.
