Really you'd assume there are like 2 or 3 steps to getting released, where they check your name, appearance, cross reference at least one thing, then send you on your way.
Even if its "oops you looked like the other guy", don't they keep forcing facial recognition on the public? Can't that solve it in places where it's actually needed?
