Ironically the service economy is for the spackers, dossers and immense pensioner population. If you want it to change then the spackers and dossers need to get back into work. For now that means non customer facing roles that support the service economy e.g. warehouse worker, van driver, litter picker. He can do all of those things easily, he simply chooses not to.
