The animal stuff is like 80% just for her own pleasure of having fun playing with animals and 20% a grift for money. It's just like PirateSoftware who runs a "ferret rescue" which is just him owning a bunch of ferrets in his living room (not rescued btw, just from breeders).
You can safely assume that 99% of the time when a streamer tries to make an animal a big part of their personality, that it's just to bait more donations from moronic animal lovers.
