non autistic people understand those non verbal social rules once they hit puberty. like saying "looks dont matter, what matters is whats on the inside" - its a performative ritual to fit in with the rest of society, of course everyone fucking knows what counts is how hot someone looks, and of course everyone knows you need to be a real man to be respected, yet you have to keep preaching gender equality, because thats part of being a chad, being socially aware and well adjusted.
