When I started taking gabapentin I used to have some strange dreams too, they were really scary cuz they were super vivid but now I remember them with some kind of nostalgia cuz those were cool ass dreams. Maybe your subconsciousness is trying to tell you something with those dreams about being in rock bottom or whatever, mine were about being coerced into doing shit like this one dream where me and somebody pull out in the middle of a shit neighborhood and we stabbed a homeless dude to death, I woke up really disturbed cuz in the dream I felt like super disgusted but eh, since then I never got any sort of dream potentiation from gabapentinoids in general.
