The internet isn't for white people anymore, you have third worlders who live in literal slums watching anime and demanding that "problematic" content be removed, people from countries where child marriage is rampant calling Japan a pedophilic country because a fictional 17 year old was drawn sexy in some anime, etc
The bottom like is that people like this hate sexual content in media period because they don't want to be perceived as being "gooners" for being fans of whatever the current popular shonen anime/game is, being against the "problematic" stuff is just a way to signal to others on social media how righteous you are
Social media is a giant panopticon where you HAVE to conform to social norms or you will be ostracized and cancelled
