Seems like it, but it seems it only retards how much the process can work. Also for how it'd work you'd find some base that'll react with it and produce something insoluble in water. I can't find any basic salt of it that'd apply, but since it's pH dependent on working then you could just add base in and it should be fine. Like adding a bit of lye(a kind of drain cleaner) or maybe even just calcium carbonate/lime stone.

I didn't drink it all, I did let others drink and enjoy it. I still have some bottled up somewhere. I should probably pop one open and drink it at some point. I wonder if it'd taste better with some aging.

wew, whoever was making that key lime pie probably had to deal with all kinds of weirdos because of it too. I highly recommend key lime pie if you get the chance, that or lemon/lime cheese cake. I love the latter a whole lot, my grandma had a nice recipe that my mom inherited and adapted. Very good stuff. Do you ever bake stuff?
