its strange to think how you really only live for the first 18 years of your life. despite most childhoods not being ideal and full of suffering, nobody can deny the feeling of wonder and excitement that accompanies having a brain with such a high degree of neuroplasticity that it makes everything appear with a glowing aura. living in a tiny bobble of non-knowledge and free interpretation as opposed to the abject terror of being an adult left solely to your own devices with every single step you take being monitored and judged. the feeling of impending doom that comes with the acknowledgement that any wrong action or unlucky coincidence can result in a domino effect of disaster that ruins your life irreparably. i miss being a child ;-;
