theres two possible meanings of "non-self-aware" one of which is just more like "not very self aware" as in doesnt think about how he looks to other people very much...the other meaning which the other anon thought you meant is like "doesnt recognize himself in a mirror and thinks its another person" like the way most animals dont (many primates dont even, like i dont think most gorillas do, they try to fight the mirror...but dolphins mostly do as well as some random like horses and mice who are i guess the einsteins of horsekind and mousekind lol.
