Not really the husband's fault, i just wouldn't date someone that would have the violence to threaten someone to death. I can tell the type of person they are by the way they word things, and it's not religion i have issues with. Breaking up was a good decision if your moralities differed so vastly.

I do understand, sometimes i also ghost my best friend and the messages pile up for months. But for a relationship it's clear you need at least semi-constant connection, and since it's not 'official' between the two of you you seem to excuse it, but i still don't think it's healthy. I do know what it's like just to long for them to come back, though. Just don't wait for them to change, live your life and get comfortable with the idea of things not going back to the same as it was before, it should be a pleasant surprise if they return you shouldn't thirst for it relentlessly, it's the best way to deal with busy people you love
