According to that article basically women don't like seeing other women in healthy relationships, so more and more women have stopped posting "boyfriend content" on their socials to not lose out on engagement. The whole thing is bat shit crazy of course, but the woman who wrote the article decided to frame it as a necessary step for women's empowerment, i.e. heterosexuality does not benefit women lol
