Yeah, sure, but "leaving her alone" doesn't mean "abandon your rightful living space".
If you were to take it a step further you would be holing yourself up, afraid to step out to use the bathroom, for fear of offending her eyes with your lowly presence.
While you're half of the problem here, she's the other half. Go back to your room, and pull the curtain up there instead. Sometimes its for the best that people enforce their boundaries, e.g. a bully gets his shit slapped is better for the bully than having everyone bow down to him. I'm obviously not saying to be hostile or slap her, just enforce what's rightfully yours (living space).
Especially because your taking up some spot in the living room is depriving living room space to everyone else (or wherever it is if not the living room).
