You've still got a lot of time to fix your problems. It's easier when you're younger I think. Getting out of that environment will help you a lot, but you have to remember to work on yourself and keep at it until you're where you want to be. Even if it feels like you aren't making progress sometimes, as long as you don't give up you've got a chance.
