sorry lads i settled on the Theatrical Edition. some UHD 10-bit release (although i don't have the screen for that). 2h 58m is more than enough for me.
although in this intermission for some choc biccies and a cheeky tramadol, i have to agree with Bilbo. why SHOULDN'T he keep the ring? only half of the riddles were even genuine riddles as far as i'm concerned. but whatever the circumstances, it's well past the statute of limitations.
