I am gradually learning to give up and avoid interacting directly with people who don't "get it" and who are unable to engage or provide substantive feedback. I used to resent the idea that they may get to inherit or otherwise benefit from the creation of a world with affordances they don't deserve, but then had to even let that go. I don't think about them at all.
