It's more about when this prof is sort of autistically talking to herself and "my mutterings will be on the exam' still applies when they make no sense. It's "telling the wife about my day" tier of muttering. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else as far as I can tell. I'd rather get bullet points written on used toilet paper than listening to aloof speech.
