Is there anything that actually works for brain damage or is it all the ultimate blackpill?
Everything says either Neuroplasticity or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, except the former just seems like readapting your brain to go around the damaged parts of the brain, and the latter is literally just gaslighting the patient into chilling out about their brain damage.
Psychedelics are even worse because they're also gaslighting, except they're really good at it.
If some guy loses some minor executive control due to slight prefrontal cortex damage, he's done. There's no way for him to regain that control, nor for him to regain emotional regulation, so he just becomes a numb sociopath. Has there been any way to fix that, or help reconnect it?
I assume the chunk of brain is still right there getting blood.
