i don't really add many people, especially not lately. also i thought the main reason for adding people is a desire to talk to them? idk what other reason you might have but that doesn't seem to be a common cause. people present like they wanna reach out to others and chat and make friendly connections, but i'm not finding that's actually the case, especially when there seems to be a distinct lack of effort being put in by those who are quick to accuse others of being low effort simply for not remembering the details of their post.
