Boys, we need to look at Hal Steinbrenner and ask why he keeps allowing Brian Cashman to spend all this money in the wrong places. DJ and Stroman, for instance. Why are we paying into $40 M deficits like them? I seriously believe that Hal doesn't care about baseball anymore. He owns a horse-racing crew/stable, and I'm positive he cares more about his horses than anything. It feels like 2009 was his last year caring about them, kind of that "nail in the coffin" for his dad's legacy. You know? Like he won then and figures he doesn't have to compete anymore..
