I think they should be able to assign sbmvp to a position group, a single player, or an entire unit. It goes against what the acronym stands for, but who cares? The Eagles defensive front or whole defense would have been mvp this year for instance. There have been Super Bowls won because Special Teams was the difference maker. It would make it more interesting than what it currently is, which is qb, pass rusher, or wide receiver of the winning team.
