We’ve had the misery of relegations, we’ve had Mike Ashley bleed the life out of the club for over a decade, but this? This takes the absolute piss. This is betrayal on a scale that makes Judas look like a loyal bloody season ticket holder.

Liverpool have tapped Isak up in broad daylight. No shame, no respect, just a full-on smash and grab. They’ve slithered in, whispered their crap into our best player’s ear, promised him the moon, and then dumped a pathetic, piss-taking offer on the table that wouldn’t buy his left boot. It’s like they broke into your house, sat down at your table, ate your dinner, nicked the dog, and then chucked you a fiver on the way out as if that makes it all square. And the arrogance - the sheer, smug arrogance - to act like we should be grateful for the insult.

And other fans defending it? That’s the bit that makes my blood boil. It’s like standing there watching your house burn down and your neighbours saying, “well technically fire’s natural.” No. This is theft. This is a football war crime. If there was any justice in this game, every single person involved would be banned for life and their trophies wiped off the record books.
