SJP under the lights, first home game of the season? It’ll be an atmosphere like no one’s ever seen before. Every tackle, every throw-in - that stadium is going to be at the height of fever pitch.
Guimaraes and Tonali snapping at the heels of Wirtz every given opportunity, Botman and Thiaw leaving elbows in on whoever they’ve got up front, Hall, Joelinton & Gordon tripling up on Salah preying on his every touch, Elanga on the counter, Ramsdale whipping the crowd up every five minutes…
“Absolute cinema” doesn’t do it justice - I cannot wait. Game of the season, game of the decade perhaps. They’ll be having nightmares about it for the rest of their careers.
