I've seen a lot of fans writing it off saying they're still making the playoffs and then taking the opportunity to shit on the Angels as if it doesn't matter that they lost. Hell in this thread a few days ago a Dodgers fan said interleague games don't matter. But these games still count and when the standings are this close they're still games they have to win. And by not doing so they just put themselves into a bad position going into the series with the Padres which may end up being the most important series of the year. It's August, you can't take your foot off the gas now and have this casual attitude.
