That's what I was trying to imply, yeah. I think it might just be a huge coincidence/misunderstanding that they went for Eze because Havertz got injured. I think they always wanted Eze.
Didn't think he'd be considered the left wing replacement though, unless Martinelli (or Jesus) is getting sold. Cause Trossard just got a pay increase and they already bought Madueke even if he can play on the right. The only replacement for Odegaard is 18 year old Nwaneri as far as I'm aware. Vieira too but I'm pretty sure they're trying to offload him.
Also it's always possible that they get a really under the radar striker and not someone high profile and the ITKs are just hyping people up because more engagement is good for them.
