Based on your criteria Nantes are probably the best bet. They used to play attacking football but maybe now they're a bit more of a classic Ligue 1 counter side. Also they are not a pure industrial working class city like Lens or ASSE but they're still pretty normal and their fans have left tendencies without being an OM or Red Star type obsessed with it.

>Stade Reims
Bit of a relic/classic club that has a nice stadium but shit support. No real rivals either (Sedan but they are lower league)
>ASSE
Based in a coal mining shithole, but used to have huge pedigree and loads of fans particularly in the South and had overall good support until their ultras got banned by the Ministry of Interior. Have arguably biggest rivalry in France with Lyon.
>RC Lens
Similar to ASSE only less successful, but better overall atmosphere and really working class with no glory hunters. Also they are inbreds. Big rivalry with Lille
>Montpellier
Kind of a small club given the size of the city because rugby dominates, but they won a Ligue 1 with Jiroo and co recently with a fun owner and they have good fans relative to their size. Complete basket case of a club now though
>OL
Went from being mid tier to God tier on the field in the 2000s winning something like 7 consecutive title and beating Real Madrid. Kinda known for their right wing fans and glory hunters from that time, but are now a basket case of a club with Textor pulling the strings.
>Stade Rennes
Owner pumps loads of money in the club and has a yoyo record of either qualifying for CL almost or being ridiculously bad for their budget. They play the Breton national anthem before every home game but are hated by every other Breton side (including Nantes which isnt even Bretagne lol).
>Red Star
Formerly working class Parisian club, overtly antifa a bit like FCSP that is now overtaken in the stands by your standard Parisian bourgeois bohemian ("bobo") and was under the ownership of an American investment fund
