I don't doubt that, but other white Americans (Navarro, Collins, Fritz etc.) always get decent crowd support at the USO, even when their opponents are non-white. American crowds seem to be much cooler towards Anisimova, I've noticed. Not just at the USO, but other North American hard court tournaments as well. Maybe I'm reading too much into the reasons as to why, but it's just something I've observed over the years.
