Penn State mainly recruits out of the Northeast, and the DMV area. The areas combine to produce a solid amount of talent yearly. Now with the 4 west coast schools joining the Big Ten, they'll be able to start recruiting a little bit out of the west coast.
Remember, part of Nebraska falling off after joining the B1G was because they lost the ability to easily go into Texas for recruiting.
