im confused, why would the big 12 change the situation for nebraska that much from the big 8. so they added texas schools but nothing else changed, they were still competing for natties for years after that, they were just making more money. if they never moved they still would probably have been run over by ou every year but they'd have still been pumping out 9-10 wins every season all the way through when texas and ou left. do they still land in the b1g in 202x instead of 2009, hard to say, but it's reasonable to ask if it was the right time in hindsight given what happened to the program post move (mediocrity only broken up by head coach drama)
