I don't think slave traders liked agression in fact I think that they'd be more likely to look for compliance and strength so that they can do hard manual labour. As if buying a farm animal.

We're in entirely different parts of the world, but I've seen the behaviour you describe, as in "snapping over a perceived sense of disrespect". It's very common in what in Chile we call "flaites", which is a subculture which is pretty much just the local hood culture and again, these people look just like every other chilean.

For example, sometimes a flaite will just say "que mirai?" (translates to "whatcha lookin at?") if you just glance at their general direction. I once saw a knife fight happen out of the fucking blue and it all happened from a "que mirai?" situation. I still remember multitasking trying to walk away fast but without looking too obviously scared out of fear of being noticed. I have lots of anecdotes like that lmao.
Anyway all these ghetto thug cultures end up producing the same types of behavioural patterns. the US is just the only country in which this shit is racialized but this shit happens everywhere. For example talking to argies I've heard similar stories but about "villeros" which is kind of their equivalent to a flaite or a hood.

Anyway I really dislike the way Guru and other mmatubers have handled the Raja situation.
