That kind of thing always annoyed me too. Remember when they closed the window way earlier than everyone else to solve this and everyone with a brain knew what would happen is JFs would unsettle PL players and there would be no way for PL clubs to buy replacements? Which is exactly what did happen so they changed it again.
Things like this are why, if I needed anymore convincing, that the system has to be corrupt because it's impossible for a billion pound company to be this incompetent and equally retarded.
