This has been a thing for decades and decades. Even the old "Pro Style" schools like Miami weren't bringing in great NFL QBs. We are closer to the 70s-mid 90s era of QBs than we are to the 00s-10s era, because that era had a weird, anomalous amount of elite pocket pocket passers.
