Pic related was a popular hat design in the 90s for most college teams. There was a UAT University of Alabama Tuscaloosa one sold for a while. Not sure if someone in the university PR department contacted 'The Game' (the manufacturer) and told them to just use UA or if that design simply didn't sell well but it was replaced. Either way, that design was out there and some fans bought them.
