Yes, I think the offense would be worse trying to run harder plays for no reason. Other teams have to do presnap trickery to force open holes to take advantage of because their offense has weaknesses.
The Eagles offense has a weakness, it's their middle of the road receivers, but the thing is their offensive line can buy him enough time for anyone to get option and Hurts to get a first down. They only need 9 yards in 3 plays. The Tush Push will get the first down.
