Nixon's Enemies List is one of the greatest existing documents in American history.
We have our Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, a few speeches declaring a good point in a war or a nice thing for people or something maybe a few some snarky judge zings. But none of them compare to the List in its just perfect Americanness.
Like oh great the Bill of Rights, we get to talk and shoot people and if we shoot people they have to read us some silly thing while they take us in.
We had a president who had beef with Paul Newman 60 years ago how bad can we end up, Nixon would have made AI shitting on libs carpet bombing memes if he had access to AI. He just wouldn't have posted it, he'd watch it, have a good laugh and go to bed after a dessert wine and yelling at the Carson monologue for "not knowing at all what working in Washington is like, just playing to the peanut gallery"
