Fair, but I like the risk/reward factor between Pushing a roll vs. Spending Luck. After all, Luck is a finite resource and passing a skill with Luck means you don't get a check for that skill to try improving it later.

I see what you're saying, but something you have to remember is that Pushed Rolls can only happen in instances where they can be justified. So in your instance of someone failing a jump roll over a chasm, presuming they already did it with a running start, there isn't really a way they can justify a Pushed Roll since they already gave it their best shot. So I'd say you're clear to make them fall on first failure at that point.
If they come up with a justification retroactively and it's far, you can always walk back what you said to get them to the point of a second attempt. But a Pushed Roll shouldn't always be available.
