I was under the impression that Luna was long made somewhat habitable and you can breathe on its surface.

Well on space hulks sure but fighting on another ship means you can breathe on it

God I wish we saw that more often. Pitch black fights in an abyss, only underwater flares for light. You don't die by being killed, but your armour being damage it can't keep you safe from the crushing pressaure. Same as void combat in that sense, small damage to armour is utterly fatal.
